If it isn't one thing, its another...
Well, I am finally feeling well enough to work out. I can breathe again, I am rested, everything. Then, out of the blue, Leah has a horrible attack of what the Dr.'s called Croupe. It appeared a lot more like an asthma attack than croupe to me. She could barely breathe and was coughing just to get any air. In any state, we spent yesterday at the Dr. then to the pharmacy, then home to rest. She took a long nap early, then went to bed at 7:30 last night. Such a long and drawn out ordeal! However, she seems fine now, so hopefully (fingers crossed) we won't have any more problems with it.
How does this affect everything else...I didn't get the errands I had planned for that day done, so they were pushed aside. I also didn't get to work out because there was no one to watch her. Once Mark got home, I was too exhausted to do anything else! This also makes my Wednesday long, I have to go to the tag office (yeck!) to get our tag. I also need to run to the store. In addition, I will need to push my trip to the tax appraiser's office off until tomorrow so that I can submit our request for homestead exemption. This will inevitably push my work outs back until Friday, when I have an appointment to get to! Aghh! When will my schedule slow down?!? Never, I guess, since I am the mom of a toddler. I will just be glad when I can go back to regular pace instead of 'run like a bear is chasing you.'
Papers are piling up on my desk for grading, I have 'earned' extra responsibilities at work, and I just can't seem to get caught up! Wowisme! Maybe I can sneak out early tomorrow. I just don't know if I can make it!
Ok, deep breath, ok, I think I am calm again. Just needed a little venting. Hopefully, for everyone's sake, our schedule will relax soon and I can get on with my goal... 1/2 marathon next February! I am excited!!!
